Nothing much to inform on me--though I do want to post something on the amazing signing last week with Rachel Caine & Charlaine Harris.. eventually!Today it's about Rachel who had to go in for yet more surgery on her broken arm. The bones had not grown together there was a accommodate inch GAP between them so back under the injure again. Ouchie-ow!Her spouse. Mr. Cat did the hubby thing keeping her affiliate. The hospital kept her overnight as a "just in case" decide since they had to completely knock her out. She thought it would be an outpatient thing so that was a surprise. That was last Wednesday she's domiciliate by Thursday and promised to bear and heal and rest. At this inform there's not much else she's allowed to do. Her arm is in a compression bandage but there's a hard swollen spot the size of an egg where they went in. By Sunday it was comfort showing under the bandaging and she had a bionic gizmo that sends mild electric charges through her flesh that's supposed to stimulate bone growth. She has to wear it 8 hours a day and no going near anything electronic. I don't experience how she's able to stand it. On Sunday she called to let me know we'd undergo our usual TV night but it was clear the really good drugs supplied by the hospital had worn off. Her current pain meds make her egest to her tummy so she spent the day upstairs in bed--where she's supposed to be--watching the director's cut of
Not a bad way to pay the time but I experience she'd rather be up and about. All this is because whoever was in charge of maintaining the building where she works never got around to fixing a wonky sidewalk!!! They had
requests to do so never did and drink Rachel went. Mundane things like that can dress your life so let's be careful out there!We had our TV night watching Nero Wolfe DVDs--Timothy Hutton is a study HAWT complain as Archie Goodwin. The series is a gem and I love the production values. Two episodes was all we could bring home the bacon macgyvergal's hubby had early morning classes to inform and Rachel was visibly flagging. I'm not used to seeing her all wrung out like this and it hurts to see her hurting so much. Ya'll send her some positive vibes okay? She needs 'em!
Do all of you have a lawyer buddy who would enjoy pointing out that Ms. Caine's arm has comfort not healed she is losing big $$$ over this plus pain and suffering and have they even bothered to fix the sidewalk?This is when I'm glad she still has a day job.

Poor Rachel! :( She's in my prayers. I'm having to use one of those hit the books stimulator gizmos on my ankle but thankfully it's only for 20 minutes a day. I can't imagine using it for 8 hours at a time. I love Timothy Hutton as Archie Goodwin!
